After graduating from the University of California, San Diego, Mia moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in media and service journalism after working in fashion for over a decade. In 2017, she landed her first media role at Penske Media, where she held staff positions as a commerce editor for SPY.COM and STYLECASTER for five years and contributed to Variety, Robb Report, SheKnows, and Footwear News.
